Rogers Centre

Project overview

The Toronto Blue Jays embarked on extensive renovations of the Rogers Centre arena aimed at enhancing the baseball fan experience. The upgrades focused primarily on the lower bowl seating area, introducing features such as increased legroom, modern seating with adjustable armrests, wider spacing between dugouts, strategically placed cupholders, and handrails on every aisle.

These improvements have created a wider variety of seating options, including unique vantage points from newly introduced sections, accessible field-level seats, and premium seating experiences designed to elevate game-day enjoyment.

MTE's Involvement

MTE was proud to contribute structural engineering expertise to the Rogers Centre renovations during Phase II and III. Our structural team was responsible for the design of the Cold Formed Steel (CFS) framing supporting the lower bowl renovations in Phase II.

As the project progresses, MTE continues to provide ongoing structural engineering services for the Phase III arena renovations, ensuring structural integrity and success of the upgrades.
