Project overview

One Yonge Phase 2, also known as SkyTower, is the second tower within Pinnacle International’s landmark mixed-use development at 1 Yonge Street in Toronto. Upon completion, the 106-storey tower will reach approximately 351.9 metres, making it Canada’s tallest residential building and a defining addition to Toronto’s skyline.

The project comprises luxury residential condominiums, retail space, and a range of resident amenities, seamlessly integrated into the broader One Yonge community alongside multiple towers and shared public spaces. The scale and complexity of the development demand a high level of coordination and precision to support both architectural intent and structural performance.

MTE's Involvement

MTE is providing structural engineering services for One Yonge Phase 2, including cold-formed steel (CFS) design for the 13th-floor exterior soffit framing, ground-floor interior plenum framing, and soffit framing for the 105-storey condominium tower. Our scope supports the delivery of complex structural elements within one of Canada’s most ambitious high-rise residential developments.
