Project overview

Milton students from kindergarten to grade eight will step into a new learning environment with the opening of Rattlesnake Point Public School. Driven by the rapid population growth in the Town of Milton, the Halton District School Board initiated this project to address increasing enrolment and ensure students have access to modern, well-equipped learning spaces.

The new school will accommodate up to 900 students and features a design that supports accessibility and 21st-century teaching methods. Highlights include a double gymnasium and five dedicated childcare rooms with capacity for 88 children, ensuring the school serves both educational and community needs.

MTE's Involvement

MTE was proud to contribute civil and structural engineering services to the development of Rattlesnake Point Public School. Our civil engineering team provided detailed site grading, servicing, and stormwater management design, laying the groundwork for efficient and sustainable site development.

Following this, our structural engineering team completed the full design of the three-storey school facility, ensuring that the structure met both functional and architectural goals while aligning with building code requirements and modern education standards.
