Digital Marketing Specialist

We are currently seeking a Digital Marketing Specialist to support our Marketing and Business Development team in our Kitchener office. This team works closely with all levels of the company to collaborate and increase brand awareness across southwestern Ontario, maintain relationships with our existing client base, help win projects with existing and new clients, support brand consistency, and assist various levels of the organization with marketing-related requests.

Responsibility
    • Lead digital activities through the entire project cycle, including strategy development, planning, execution, and analysis;
    • Manage social media channels, including content development, implementation, and evaluation across multiple platforms while ensuring alignment with MTE’s vision and brand;
    • Plan, implement, and coordinate marketing emails and email campaigns;
    • Develop a photography and video strategy, including editorial calendar, concepts, and production. Collaborate with external vendors when necessary;
    • Develop and implement content strategies for strategic plans;
    • Manage, create and post content to corporate website;
    • Regularly measure the effectiveness of digital marketing and communication programs, providing detailed reporting and insights;
    • Ensure compliance with brand, style guide, and accessibility standards;
    • Collaborate with other team members and departments to brainstorm creative content ideas;
    • Stay updated on digital marketing trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to enhance MTE’s digital presence;
    • Create visually appealing and on-brand graphics for various digital and print materials, including brochures, presentations, and advertisements; and
    • Other related duties, as assigned.
Requirements
    • Post-secondary education in the field of Marketing, Communications, Business, Digital Design, or a related field;
    • 5-7 years of experience managing organic and paid social media strategies, as well as web content;
    • Proficiency in digital marketing tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Hootsuite, Google Analytics, Constant Contact, MailChimp, and WordPress;
    • Excellent internal and external communication skills, both written and oral;
    • Strong organizational, analytical, and project management skills;
    • Exceptional creativity and innovative skills in all aspects of design and projects;
    • Detail-oriented with a strategic mindset, able to make recommendations while considering their impact on all of MTE’s divisions and service lines;
    • Demonstrated expertise in email marketing/lead generation marketing;
    • Excellent time management skills, and the ability to deliver high-quality work for multiple projects at the same time;
    • Analytical and problem-solving skills, including experience with online data collection, analysis, and report development;
    • Proficiency in MS Office;
    • Knowledge of AEC industry would be considered an asset;
    • Experience with video marketing would be considered an asset;
    • A proven interest in staying up to date with developments in social media, best practices and measurement tools would be considered an asset; and
    • Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle is required. Travel to all MTE offices will be required on an as-needed basis.
