The Opportunity

We are currently seeking a Chief Growth Officer (CGO) to join our Executive Team and lead our growth, business development, and marketing initiatives.

As the Chief Growth Officer, you will be responsible for identifying business growth opportunities, executing strategic growth and business plans, and ensuring the successful completion of our short- and long-term goals. You will also support and coordinate collaborations across relevant departments when executing various marketing, sales, and general business development activities.

Our ideal candidate for this role has a strong understanding of client behavior and market trends, is a forward-thinking and results-driven individual, and has a natural ability to lead and inspire team members toward a shared goal. You should have a proven track record of executing successful growth strategies that increase revenue and market share, preferably with experience in consulting engineering.

Responsibility
  • As a member of MTE’s Executive Team, help to develop and implement MTE’s Strategic and Operations plans.
  • Execute existing growth strategies and develop new growth strategies that align with the company’s overall goals and objectives.
  • Identify new market opportunities and lead efforts to enter new markets.
  • Participate in a key role for merger and acquisition activities using both strong negotiation skills and integration experience.
  • Analyze client data and behavior to inform growth initiatives and improve client acquisition and retention.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor initiatives focused on increasing client loyalty and satisfaction to protect and grow our revenue stream.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful execution of growth initiatives.
  • Build and manage a high-performing business development and marketing team to drive growth across the organization.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices to identify new growth opportunities.
  • Monitor and report on key performance metrics to track progress towards growth goals.
  • Manage budgets and resources effectively to ensure the successful execution of growth initiatives.
  • Prepare presentations and improvement suggestions for meetings with teams across the organization.
Requirements

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing, or related field with minimum of 10 years of experience in a leadership role in Marketing or Business Development

  • Proven track record of driving revenue growth and market share expansion in a similar role preferably within the Engineering Consulting industry.
  • Strong leadership skills and experience managing high-performing teams
  • Excellent analytical and strategic thinking skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to achieve common goals
  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Experience in developing and implementing growth strategies in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Deep understanding of client behavior and market trends
  • Ability to identify and capitalize on new market opportunities
  • Experience and strong understanding of the acquisition process including the dynamics involved when dealing with acquisitions in multiple geographies.
  • Experience in managing budgets and resources effectively
