Our Accounting team is growing and we are looking to bring on an Accounting Clerk in Kitchener.
Responsibility

- Assist Project Managers with administrative duties as required;
- Provide support for Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable tasks as required;
- Assist with project set up and modification in Ajera;
- Prepare and maintain project Accounting Files;
- General administrative duties, including data entry;
- Assist with month-end and year-end financial statement preparations and closing process; and
- Other duties, as assigned.
Requirements

- College diploma in Finance, Accounting or a related field;
- Minimum 1-year experience in a finance or accounting related role;
- Excellent interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills, with the ability to multitask;
- Ability to keep information organized and confidential;
- Confident and tactful to comfortably deal with clients and diverse personalities;
- Ability to work as part of a team and work well independently;
- Familiarity with accounting principles and concepts;
- Excellent computer skills and knowledge of MS Office including Excel, Word and Outlook;
- Excellent attention to detail; and
- Driver’s license and access to a vehicle as travelling to other offices may be required.
