Overview
Steve Russell has over 14 years of professional experience as a Senior Risk Assessment Specialist and Toxicologist at MTE, and has been involved in the submission of Human Health and Ecological Risk Assessments in accordance with O. Reg. 153/04 and federal guidelines. Steve is currently part of the team providing expert review services to the Ontario Ministry of the Environment, Conservation and Parks (MECP) for Risk Assessments being submitted under O. Reg. 153/04.
Steve Russell has been involved in over 100 Risk Assessments completed under O. Reg. 153/04, many of which have involved a detailed investigation of the vapour intrusion pathway, and development of appropriate risk management measures and monitoring programs. Steve is currently the Manager of our Toxicology and Risk Assessment Division in Kitchener and he is responsible for bringing technical innovation to the Division’s projects. Steve is also a Project Manager and is responsible for managing and coordinating Human Health Risk Assessments and related work. He has been involved in several large scientific research projects for various municipalities and divisions of the federal government. He has also provided toxicology support in several large litigation cases.
